Designing a collection of sunglasses inspired by the eye make-up looks of key 1960s icons such as Brigitte Bardot, Twiggy and Britt Ekland. To make the designs contemporary I will also be looking at modern make up looks from instagram like @harbsy. Keeping with the free, hippy vibe of the 1960s but with a more modern, graphic take. I will be taking inspiration from the major 1960s art movement Op Art to inspire my colour choices. Mainly using Black and white to keep the design simple and chic, each design will have a simple pop of colour in varying intensities.
